LEVANIA

Levania is an Italian Gothic Core act, founded in 2009 by Still (Growl, synth) and Fade (bass) in Bologna. Since its birth, Levania has had several line-up changes. The most relevant change was Elena, who joined the band in 2010 on Christmas Eve. A month later the band recorded their first full-length, “Parasynthesis”.
In the same period signed a deal with the label Wormhole Death Records.
It was a year full of satisfaction because the band also recorded their first video, “Midnight of Silence”, but at the solar year’s end the drummer and the guitarist left the band. Luckily an old friend, Richie, joined the band, becoming the first guitarist. Thanks to Richie and his support the band released the second full-length, “Renascentis”. Levania was chosen for Kraken Metal Fest, in Belgium, but joy never came alone, and on the return trip Moon, the drummer, announced his partways.

Therefore, Levania went through a very difficult period. The writing of new songs was stopped until 2016. From 2014 to 2016 Fade and still started a new wave project called Deplacement. The same year, Markus Bellini joined the group ranks and recorded the single “Memories”.
Finally, the sun began to shine again in 2018: they signed a deal with Sliptrick Records and completely changed their style. They recorded a new EP, that melts hardcore and gothic metal. “The Day I Left Apart” was produced by Giuseppe Bassi (Fear Factory) at Dysfunction Studio in Modena, Italy. In 2019 another EP was released: “Episode 0”. In July, Levania played at Rock the Castle Festival with Dream Theater and many others.
The group is currently working on its new album “Fukushima” under the guidance of), and Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati (Lacuna Coil), the effort is set to release on May 28th, 2023, via Ad Noctem Records.
